The West Yorkshire Business Sustainability Programme
We’re helping businesses to be more resilient to future energy price rises and increase their sustainability.
We work with our partners to support West Yorkshire’s thriving and diverse community of businesses. We know that many businesses are struggling with rising costs due to inflation and energy price rises. That’s why it’s vital that we work with businesses to help them reduce waste, water and energy consumption.
The West Yorkshire Business Sustainability Programme is a £10.6 million package to help a wide range of businesses including hospitality, personal care services and manufacturing. It will work with businesses to identify ways to improve energy and resource efficiencies, introduce circular economy methods and help our region to achieve its ambition to be net zero carbon by 2038.
This builds on our successful ReBiz scheme which has helped more than 600 SMEs across our region to reduce their energy bills, their water consumption and their environmental impact.
This programme is currently in development and will not be open until April 2023.
