Travel

The Mayor's Fares

Passengers will now pay no more than £2 for an Adult Single ticket and an MCard DaySaver valid on any bus across West Yorkshire will be £4.50, reduced from £5.50. This is up to 18% off current prices. 

Tracy Brabin, Mayor of West Yorkshire, launched ‘The Mayor’s Fares’ on Sunday 4 September 2022, delivering on her pledge to make bus fares simpler and cheaper and to help ease the cost-of-living burden.  

Adult tickets give virtually unlimited travel on buses, trains or both in West Yorkshire.
