We want to share your story

As part of an exciting up and coming campaign, we are looking for local people who would like to encourage and inspire other West Yorkshire residents to use public transport, to walk, cycle or wheel.

Do you enjoy a morning chat with your children as you walk them to school? Does your bike ride home from a busy day at the office help you unwind?

We want to hear from people who walk, wheel, cycle and use public transport across West Yorkshire to tell their story of how and why they travel in these ways, and help others see the benefits you have experienced.

Our campaign builds on Leeds City Council’s Walk it Ride it campaign, by rolling it out across West Yorkshire. You can find out more about Leeds City Council’s campaign at walkitrideit.com.

We are looking to build a set of case studies of local people who already use these methods of transport and travel and would like to tell their stories of how and why they travel in these ways.

Participants need to be willing to:

  • spare two to three hours of their time
  • be filmed and photographed
  • be willing to travel a short distance, within their local area (expenses will be paid)
  • tell us their story, using their full name
  • be available to film in August (dates tbc based on participant availability)

All participants will receive a voucher as a token of thanks for their involvement.

The content we produce will be shared across social media and websites, on outdoor media channels and poster sites across West Yorkshire, as well as in the media.

So if you want to help build confidence and inspire others to make more sustainable journeys simply fill in the form below to express your interest and we will be in touch.
