Car Club
West Yorkshire Combined Authority (WYCA) is tendering for the creation of a new Car Club for West Yorkshire and York.
West Yorkshire Combined Authority (WYCA) is inviting tenders for the creation of a new Car Club for West Yorkshire and York.
Car Clubs are an alternative to private car ownership, providing their members with access to a variety of vehicles for as long or as little as they need them. Available 24/7, with vehicles located in dedicated parking bays, Car Clubs give people access to a car or van when they need one without the cost of private car ownership or traditional car hire.
By creating a West Yorkshire and York Car Club, the Combined Authority plans to give local residents and businesses greater access to such schemes and encourage better integration with public transport.
WYCA is inviting any parties interested in tendering for the project to visit its In-Tend system (opens in new window) and register.
An Open Day for Car Club operators will take place on Friday 13 March between 2pm and 4pm, at WYCAs offices at Wellington House, 40-50 on Wellington Street, LS1 2DE. Interested parties can register their interest in attending the Open Day by e-mailing Alistair Ryder or via In-Tend.
