Dewsbury Bus Station

Online survey asks public opinion of proposals to refurbish Dewsbury Bus Station in West Yorkshire

Following the successful opening of its most recent new build bus station at Castleford, WYCA is now turning its attention to the next bus station on its list, which is Dewsbury.

Dewsbury's current bus station was opened in 1995 and is now due for a refurbishment in the next year or so.

Its a busy bus station within the heart of the town centre and on weekdays has around 20,000 people going through it every day. It already has a good range of facilities including a shop, cafe, Travel Centre and toilets, but now it requires some internal and external refurbishment to brighten it up and improve the overall look and feel of the waiting areas.

Online survey

Before we develop plans for refurbishment work we asked for your views on what you think of the station: what works well; what needs to be improved?

Our online survey ran until Sunday 29 March 2015, and is now closed.

The responses will now help to inform the refurbishment plans.
