Holbeck Phase 2 Victorian Terrace Retrofit

Comprehensive energy efficiency and heating improvements are being made to 100 properties, creating warmer, healthier homes, increasing the energy rating of properties, and reducing household fuel bills.

Project Scope

This scheme is an extension of the Holbeck Regeneration and Group Repair scheme and will help address fuel poverty, amongst some of the most vulnerable households within the Leeds City Region through a programme of transformative energy efficiency improvements and essential repair works across all types of housing. Improvements made to residential homes in this area will include new insulated roofs, repair or removal of chimneys and soffits etc, external wall insulation with brick effect render, replacement of rainwater goods, new windows, and doors. Where required, additional heating measures will also be offered to qualifying households.

The overall impact of this scheme will lead to a reduction in heating costs and lower carbon dioxide emissions, which will contribute towards better health outcomes for the residents and improve the housing stock in the area.
