Connecting Innovation will focus on inspiring SMEs that have a lower propensity to engage and support them through the complex eco system of innovation support. The scheme will support SMEs to:

  • Develop new products and processes contributing to productivity gains
  • Increased take up of Innovate UK grants, KTPs, and other national innovation support through offering a simplified and coordinated innovation offer within the Leeds City Region
  • New and sustained collaborations with Higher Education Institutes
  • A greater propensity to undertake future innovation activity through an effective communications campaign aimed at developing an innovation culture and appetite for collaboration within the region’s SMEs.
