A660 Signal Improvements
A project to improve the traffic signals across a number of junctions.
This project will improve the traffic signals on the A660 across a number of junctions from the A660 junction with Spen Approach to the pedestrian crossing south of North Hill Road. The works will help to reduce congestion along strategic routes by adapting traffic signal timings to the traffic flow. The new signals system will improve coordination between traffic signal-controlled junction for general traffic. This will reduce the number of stops that vehicles have to make.
The works are funded through the Leeds Public Transport Investment Programme and will provide improvements at three junctions and seven pedestrian crossings.
