Low Moor Rail Station
Low Moor is Leeds City Region's three new rail station which were opened within a 16 month period from December 2015.
The opening of Low Moor, between Bradford and Halifax, followed the opening of stations at Apperley Bridge - being used by over 20,000 people per month - in December 2015, and Kirkstall Forge – which exceeded its forecast 20,200 annual passengers in its first five months. Low Moor opened ahead of schedule.
Over 500,000 passengers are expected to use the £10.8m Low Moor station, which will provide fast links to Bradford - 8 minutes, Halifax - 10 minutes, Leeds – 30 minutes and further afield Manchester and York.
Local train services are provided by Northern, while four Grand Central trains per day provide direct links with London King Cross.
