Our £250,000 Growing Places Fund investment is helping small and medium-sized enterprises from Leeds City Region access additional working capital.

The project enables the Market Invoice investment team to provide short term loans of up to 80% of the value of a long date invoice, to boost cash flow. SME’s reported in 2017 that accessing finance is their highest area of need for support.

About the Growing Places Fund (LEP Loans)

The Leeds City Region Enterprise Partnership (LEP) Growing Places Fund provides loan funding to kick-start stalled development or infrastructure projects that will create homes, jobs and other economic benefits in Leeds City Region. The initial £35.5m Growing Places Fund investment was provided by Government in 2012, specifically to invest in development schemes that are unable to proceed due to a lack of commercial finance.
