Selby College - The Aspiration Building
In partnership with the LEP, we have invested £693,000 of Leeds City Region Growth Deal funding into Selby College, helping more than 1,200 additional learners pass through the doors of the college. The project will deliver a 493m2 extension to the Aspiration Building and the refurbishment of a further 535m2 of workshop space to accommodate growth in demand for engineering and construction skills locally, regionally, and nationally. This will help to fill the gap in construction skills, locally and nationally – a key aim of the Leeds City Region Enterprise (LEP).
Our £693,000 Leeds City Region Growth Deal investment into Selby College is helping more than 1,200 additional learners pass through the doors of the college by 2021. This will help to fill the gap in construction skills, locally and nationally – a key aim of the Leeds City Region Enterprise Partnership (LEP).
Our funding, matched by the college itself, helped to refurbish existing facilities and extend the Aspiration Building by almost 500 square metres.
