Leeds - A660 Lawnswood Roundabout

The A660 is one of the most congested corridors in Leeds. It experiences high traffic flows as well as seeing some of the highest volumes of pedestrians and cyclists, often competing for road space with HGVs and more than 60 buses per hour at peak times.

Initially included under the Leeds Public Transport Investment Programme (LPTIP), the proposed A660 Lawnswood Roundabout scheme now forms part of the Corridor Improvement Programme.

This scheme will deliver improvements to the A660 Lawnswood Roundabout section of the A660 corridor in Leeds including a new 435 metre section of outbound (northbound) bus lane, the upgrade of advisory cycle lanes to dedicated facilities, for approximately 350 metres, in both directions and a controlled pedestrian crossing.
