CityConnect Phase 3
The West Yorkshire Combined Authorities CityConnect programme works in partnership with a range of public, private and community organisations to encourage more people to take part in active travel – such as cycling or walking – by creating high quality cycling infrastructure alongside engagement initiatives such as cycle training, cycle challenges, business and school support and behaviour change campaigns.
Phase 3 of the West Yorkshire Combined Authorities CityConnect programme is currently made up of 8 schemes, with a mixture of on and off-highway schemes across West Yorkshire. These schemes will link in with previous CityConnect phases to further expand the cycling and walking network within West Yorkshire.
