Leeds Bradford Airport Parkway Rail Station

This project aims to improve access to the airport and the surrounding existing and proposed office and industrial developments by public transport, and provide a park and ride service for residents of north west Leeds and the wider catchment area.

Leeds Bradford Airport Parkways Station Scheme proposes to build a new rail station, car park and spur road on the Leeds-Harrogate Railway Line between Horsforth station and the southern end of the Bramhope Tunnel. The new station will provide an interchange to serve Leeds Bradford Airport and a parkway function to serve a large but generally rural catchment between north Leeds and Harrogate. It is proposed that shuttle buses will run between the station and the airport.
