Leeds Station Gateway
Leeds Train Station is the busiest station in the North of England with approximately 28 million passengers per year. 80% of the rail services in West Yorkshire originate or terminate at Leeds.
New Station Street is the main pedestrian entrance to the station and provides direct access to the main concourse and retail units.
This scheme aims to improve the pedestrian environment to access Leeds Train Station by increasing the area of pavement, relocation of bus stops, improved lighting and improved access from City Square.
