Fitzwilliam
Fitzwilliam rail station car park has been increased by 108 spaces through £400,000 investment from the West Yorkshire-plus Transport Fund.
Fitzwilliam
The extended car park was opened in April 2018 and as well as providing more parking spaces including six new blue badge parking spaces, it features CCTV coverage and low energy LED lighting.
Fitzwilliam rail station is one of 14 projects within Phase 1 of our Rail Park and Ride Programme, which has been designed to increase station parking and provide people with increased access to train services. In turn, this will help reduce congestion, improve local air quality and enhance people’s access to jobs, training and apprenticeship opportunities, as well as leisure activities.
