Wakefield City Centre Package Phase 2 Ings Road
Ings Road forms part of the city centre inner ring road, to the South of the city centre, aka the “Emerald Ring”, and carries more than 23,000 vehicles a day.
Ings Road has a number of large retail developments to the south side, including Sainsbury’s superstore, Homebase, B&M Homestores and Matalan, and a need for improving the vitality of the corridor.
This scheme aims to reduce congestion and improve facilities for pedestrians and cyclists.
