A rare opportunity to join Leeds City Region's highly successful Trade & Inward Investment team. We are now searching for a commercially aware individual who can help us grow the region’s economy by attracting inward investments across a broad range of industrial sectors.

Do you have the ability to work with large global brands such as Channel 4, Reed Smith, Premier Farnell and Burberry? We are now looking for somebody who can help us capitalise on recent momentum to generate new enquiries and act in an advisory capacity to clients who are considering investing in the Leeds City Region.

The role will require a strong focus on managing a healthy pipeline of inward investment projects and acting as an ambassador for the Leeds City Region.


West Yorkshire Combined Authority is recruiting for a highly motivated professional to join our Trade and Investment team. You will play a key role in supporting the key sectors in our region, working with businesses to understand and assist their plans for growth. In delivering this activity you will attract new businesses to locate in the region, provide funding support to growing companies, and raise the international profile of Leeds City Region’s digital ecosystem.

  • Have an eye for detail and a strongly analytical approach to work
  • Be confident and able to communicate with senior business leaders and stakeholders
