We’re recruiting a marketing specialist with strong B2B expertise, experienced in identifying and reaching new audiences and delivering impactful communications campaigns.
The successful candidate will be based in our award-winning Marketing team and work closely with the Connecting Innovation team to lead on the promotion of business support services and raising awareness of innovation as a route to growth.
Working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple campaigns, projects and stakeholders whilst delivering the full marketing and communications mix, this is an exciting role with an opportunity to make an impact
It is an exciting time to be joining the Combined Authority, following the announcement of a £1.8bn devolution deal that has been secured for West Yorkshire. Devolution will enable us to drive up living standards for local communities while tackling the climate emergency and help deliver our commitment to become a net zero carbon city region by 2038.
- Development, delivery and evaluation of the annual Connecting Innovation Investment marketing and communications plans
- Delivery of impactful integrated marketing and communications campaigns across the full mix of earned, owned and paid media
- Working closely with internal and external stakeholders and with suppliers including agencies and media

This is a varied role which will suit an individual with experience across the full marketing and communications mix, proficient at managing multiple projects and working with a range of stakeholders. You will have the following key skills, attributes and experience but not be limited to:
- skilled in delivering integrated marketing and
communications campaigns targeting business and consumer audiences
- experience of delivering successful strategic communications plans including media relations and securing local, regional and national coverage
- experience of relationship building and collaboration in a partnership environment.
