The Combined Authority’s Portfolio Management Office (PMO) oversees a £1bn+ portfolio of programmes and projects. These schemes are either delivered directly by the Combined Authority or through one of our partner organisations. Whichever the delivery route, the PMO has responsibility for ensuring that only schemes which meet the strategic aims of the organisation are developed and delivered within the agreed time, cost and quality framework.
We are seeking an enthusiastic Portfolio Assistant to provide support across a multi-disciplinary team. A key element of this role is to support the Portfolio Information Management System (PIMS) ensuring that project information is kept up to date, setting up access permissions and assisting with training of system users.

The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office systems and experience of MS Project and Sharepoint. They will also have experience compiling spreadsheets in order to analyse and interpret performance data and summarise the results.

Secondment opportunities will be considered for this post, however, in line with the Combined Authority’s Secondments Policy, you must have 12 months’ service in your current role.
