The Combined Authority brings together district partners, the business community via Leeds City Region Enterprise Partnership and takes in the former Passenger Transport Executive (branded Metro). Overall, the Combined Authority covers a population of around 2.5 million people and represents the largest economy outside London.

The Combined Authority’s Portfolio Management and Appraisal (PMA) Team oversees a £1bn+ portfolio of programmes and projects. These schemes are either delivered directly by the Combined Authority or through one of our partner organisations. Whichever the delivery route, the PMA team has responsibility for ensuring that only schemes which meet the strategic aims of the organisation are developed and delivered within the agreed time, cost and quality framework.


The role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Portfolio Support Officer to provide first class administrative support across a multi-disciplinary team.


The person

The successful candidate will be educated to A level or equivalent, or have relevant experience. They will also have experience and knowledge of using Microsoft Office systems. They will also be extremely well organised and have an understanding of programme and project management methodologies.
