If so then you will be interested to know that West Yorkshire Combined Authority are seeking to appoint a Quality Compliance Officer to join our Monitoring & Compliance Team.

The Role

Reporting to the Monitoring & Survey Team Leader your key responsibilities will include:

 

  • Monitoring the operation, patronage, reliability and quality of all contracted services, partnership agreements and commercial operations; including, Special Educational Needs (SEN) taxi/minibus services, AccessBus & FlexiBus services, School Bus services and Bus services.
  • Addressing under performance, reporting findings and making recommendations to Combined Authority teams and partner organisations.
  • Maintaining a database of all observations, reports and where failures occur.
  • Issuing operators with penalty points and decision making on appeals.

About you

This role offers an excellent opportunity for a candidate with the following skills:

 

  • The ability to work unsupervised, plan own duties and manage own workload to ensure work plans meet requirements.
  • Good map reading skills and geographical knowledge of West Yorkshire; with the ability to read and use bus timetables.
  • Experience of effectively contributing to team objectives.
  • A positive can-do attitude & resilience.
  • Industry standard Accessible vehicle training (MIDAS) or equivalent.
