The Programme Lead will be part of our new and rapidly expanding £317m Transforming Cities Fund (TCF) team with funding for 3 years based within the Delivery Directorate.

The Leeds City Region has been successful in securing one of the largest TCF awards in the country. It is an exciting and ambitious programme of transport infrastructure aimed at reducing reliance on car travel and increasing and improving infrastructure for public transport and cycling and walking. This programme is vital in meeting our commitment to become a net zero carbon city region.

The role

Reporting to the Head of Service for TCF you will have the opportunity to join a newly formed team, you will be responsible for leading the partnership with our wider district partners to support the efficient delivery of major infrastructure schemes across the wider region delivering the £317m TCF programme within 3 years.

About You

To succeed you will have experience of ownership and leading in a programme management / project delivery environment and have excellent organisation skills. Be a confident communicator with the ability to navigate complex stakeholder relationships and drive progress on project delivery.

It is desirable that you have a good understanding of highway, transport and regeneration principles and practices, however, experience working on infrastructure projects is acceptable.
