Dave Masters, Chairman of OE Electrics, shares his exporting journey.
OE Electrics are market-leading manufacturers in power distribution solutions. This includes power, data, patented USB charging and now batteries, allowing untethered power anywhere.
Located in West Yorkshire, OE Electrics is a proud member of Made in Britain. Their offices and manufacturing are in an advanced manufacturing facility in Wakefield. They are also proud winners of the Queen's Award for International Trade in 2019.
The OE Group exports to over 60 countries. Their head office and manufacturing are in Wakefield. They also have manufacturing in Australia for the APAC region, manufacturing and distribution hub in Germany for Europe and now sales supported with Third-party logistics (3PL) based in North America.
North America began small for OE Group during the pandemic. This year, they are aiming for major growth. The APAC region has seen steady sales for years, but they plan for accelerated growth in 2023.
With 40 years in manufacturing and management, Dave has grown a small UK business into a successful international exporter. He has strong skills in setting up and running facilities abroad, including in the Middle East, Australia, Germany and North America.
