An employer led programme to mentor students and provide advice for the next steps of their career.
The apprenticeship and technical education project aims to support employers to mentor small groups of students to increase their knowledge and awareness of apprenticeship and technical education options, as well as confidence and understanding of apprenticeship application processes.
There was a 46% increase in students considering an apprenticeship from the start to the end of the programme, with student knowledge of apprenticeships increased by 42% and their confidence in applying by 35%.
