The Adult Skills Fund means adults in West Yorkshire can access training courses for free. Whether you want to retrain in a new sector, gain a qualification or build skills, find out what you are eligible for and how to apply.

The Adult Skills Fund pays for adults in West Yorkshire to gain qualifications equivalent to GCSE and/or A Levels for free. You do not need to pay to apply. Full funding is available if you:

  • Are unemployed and seeking work
  • Want to improve your maths and English
  • Earn less than £25,750 per year
  • Want to develop basic digital skills
  • Are 19+ and want to achieve your first GCSE or A Level equivalent qualification
