Role details

We currently have a vacancy for an ICT Project Manager to join our Data Programme team as part of the wider Bus Reform Programme.

As ICT Project Manager, you will collaborate with a network of internal and external stakeholders. This includes business analysts, technical partner specialists, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), Workstream Leads across all delivery areas, and other Project Managers. You will play a central role in coordinating these groups to ensure alignment, drive progress, and support the successful delivery of project outcomes.

This is a broad and varied opportunity for an experienced ICT Project Manager to play a central role across multiple high profile workstreams, each focused on delivering the digital products and systems essential to the successful implementation of bus franchising.

This once in a generation, multi million pound programme will reshape how bus services operate across the whole of West Yorkshire, creating a more integrated, reliable and passenger focused network. As the project progresses, it is expected to attract significant regional investment, giving our new ICT Project Manager the chance to contribute to one of the most ambitious transport reforms in the region whilst also benefiting from substantial opportunities for professional growth.

The Bus Reform programme is a flagship priority for the Mayor of West Yorkshire, bringing with it high visibility, strong political backing and a unique platform to influence a landmark regional initiative. This is not only a major project to deliver - it’s a rare chance to help shape the future of public transport for an entire region.
