We currently have a vacancy for an Inclusive Economy Manager (Advanced Manufacturing) to join our Advanced Manufacturing &  Engineering sector team within the wider Inclusive Economy, Skills and Culture directorate.

As one of two Inclusive Economy Managers in this team, you will be responsible for ecosystem and cluster development and growth, identifying and implementing innovative interventions to shift the dial in key regional subsectors including, food and drink, Space, defence and security, chemicals, and advanced materials. You will provide visible internal and external leadership to promote the growth of the sector and promote partnership working with key stakeholders, building productive local and national partnerships for the benefit of West Yorkshire’s Advanced Manufacturing sector and work with businesses with growth ambitions to expand in West Yorkshire.

The role offers high-profile stakeholder engagement, results-driven projects and investment enquiries, and the chance to translate national opportunities from the UK’s Advanced Manufacturing Sector Plan and the Defence Industrial Strategy into tangible benefits for West Yorkshire manufacturers.
