Resurfacing works to ensure Bradford Interchange remains a safe, fully functioning part of West Yorkshire’s public transport network. This critical maintenance will prevent disruption, safeguard the infrastructure and prepare the interchange for future improvement projects.
The Bradford Interchange carriageway works project involved the full resurfacing of the interchange’s carriageway. This essential maintenance will protect the condition of a key public transport asset, allowing safe and continued operations. The work also lays the groundwork for further improvements to Bradford Interchange as part of future regeneration plans.
West Yorkshire Combined Authority led the project as part of the Local Transport Plan (LTP).
Work began in 2019 and was completed in 2023.
A total of £8,940,000 from the West Yorkshire Combined Authority.
