Improving connectivity to Leeds Bradford Airport with a new rail station.
We are proposing to build a new rail station, car park and spur road as part of the Leeds Bradford Airport Parkway rail station scheme. This will be on the Leeds to Harrogate Railway Line between Horsforth station and Bramhope Tunnel. The scheme includes running shuttle buses between the station and the airport.
The new station will provide an interchange to serve Leeds Bradford Airport. It will also provide a parkway for the large and mostly rural areas between north Leeds and Harrogate.
West Yorkshire Combined Authority is leading this project with Leeds City Council and Network Rail, with Leeds Bradford Airport Authority as delivery partners.
