The rail Park and Ride programme is part of our wider effort to improve bus and rail stations across the region, supported by the West Yorkshire-plus Transport Fund.
Phase 1 of the £25.8 million programme focused on expanding parking facilities at key rail stations, making it easier for more people to access train services. By encouraging rail travel, the programme aims to reduce road congestion, improve air quality and make it easier for people to access employment, training, apprenticeships and leisure opportunities.
