Report road safety issues

The public play a key role in achieving Vision Zero. You can help road safety by reporting concerns to the right agency.

Report community concerns about speeding

The West Yorkshire Safety Camera Partnership and the West Yorkshire Vision Zero Partnership aim to prevent deaths and serious injuries on the roads. High speeds are one of the fatal five behaviours that lead to fatal collisions.

We also understand how speeding affects local communities, making them feel unsafe.

The Safety Camera Partnership promotes safe speeds by enforcing limits in areas known for accidents and other risky locations.

Speed cameras are one tool we use to improve speed compliance. We also consider education, publicity, signage changes, road layout adjustments, and other enforcement methods.

Now, the Safety Camera Partnership can enforce speed limits at sites where local concerns and traffic data show speeding issues.

You should report any concerns to your local authority for a speed monitoring assessment. Below are contact details for each district in West Yorkshire.

Report a parking issue

Since June 2016, all parking issues became the responsibility of local councils and their Civil Enforcement Officers (Traffic Wardens). This includes problems like parking on yellow lines or in restricted bays.

To report a parking issue, contact your local authority. Their details are below.

West Yorkshire Police handle nuisance or obstructive parking, where a vehicle blocks traffic. You can report this using the reporting form on their website.
