You will explore AI’s role in content production – from ideation to final delivery. Weekly topics include AI-assisted scriptwriting, image and video generation, AI audio design, editing, localisation, and ethical considerations. Develop practical employability skills through freelancing and portfolio workshops. By the end of the course, you will produce and present an AI-based short film and receive feedback from industry professionals.
This intensive ten-week Skills Bootcamp in AI in Content Production equips aspiring and practising creatives with advanced, industry-relevant skills in using artificial intelligence across the content production pipeline. Designed to meet growing demand for AI-literate content professionals, the curriculum integrates practical training in tools and techniques with critical engagement around ethics, sustainability, and industry practice.
The programme has been co-developed with input from employers in screen, digital, and post-production sectors, ensuring learners develop not only technical competence but also the commercial and ethical awareness required to operate professionally in fast-changing creative markets.
Each week is structured around a themed module combining live online sessions, on-demand tutorials, peer collaboration, and guided portfolio development. You will apply your knowledge in a practical context through weekly challenges and a capstone project that brings together scripting, visual design, editing, and distribution planning using AI tools.
There are no formal entry requirements, but you must be able to demonstrate basic digital literacy and a commitment to completing the course. Access to a computer capable of handling creative applications and a reliable internet connection is essential.
You will complete ten structured modules that build on your capabilities in AI-led content creation, aligned to employer needs and mapped to selected components of the iFATE ST0105 Content Creator standard.
