This is a brand-new Skills Bootcamp, funded by the government, that the HBXL Skills Academy is looking to launch. And you can have a sneak peek at the details! This construction-oriented job and project management course results in a professional qualification of either PRINCE2 7 Foundation Certification or Behavioural and Psychological Safety Certification. Depending on your certification option it is either 67 hours or 64 hours respectively.

Course provider: House Builder XL Ltd 

Eligibility: You must be aged 19+ and reside in West Yorkshire

Industry: Construction 

Dates: From January 28th 2026

Duration:  7 weeks total. 8 hours per week (4 hours x 2 sessions) for 6 weeks plus 2 day 2 day Prince 2 Foundation course plus exam on 3rd day 

Venue: Remote learning

You’ll develop management skills and feel more confident about your role, understand the function of the site manager and receive SSSTS accreditation. You’ll also get to grips with key areas in the modern building company such as health and safety, circular economy and modern methods of construction. You’ll understand how to cost projects and develop a programme of works, and much more.
