We currently have a vacancy for a Programme Manager to join our Regeneration Team, a growing, dynamic team within the Combined Authority’s Policing, Environment and Place Directorate. It covers a diverse range of housing, economic infrastructure and development programmes and projects to support sustainable and inclusive growth. The successful candidate for this post will work with our Local Authority partners and other stakeholders to support the efficient delivery of major infrastructure schemes to support the Climate Emergency Plan, the West Yorkshire Plan and the West Yorkshire Local Growth Plan. There will be an opportunity to work on a range of programmes with an initial focus on flood mitigation schemes.
The Combined Authority has delegated funding to enable the delivery of infrastructure projects including flood mitigation and nature recovery schemes as part of the Climate Emergency Plan. Whilst the focus will be on managing this programme, the team manages a varied portfolio of activity including development of major housing programmes, employment sites within Enterprise Zones and Investment Zones, and the delivery of Cultural and other high-profile projects with a significant devolved budget over the next four years.
