What is the clean energy and environmental resilience programme?

We’re working to make West Yorkshire cleaner, greener, and better prepared for the effects of climate change, while creating new opportunities for businesses and communities.

This programme supported:

  • Low-carbon, sustainable growth that helps businesses cut pollution and use energy more efficiently
  • Green spaces and natural landscapes that attract people to live, work and visit
  • New technologies and innovative systems that give people more control over how they use energy
  • Well-insulated homes and cleaner air, so that problems like poor air quality and fuel poverty become a thing of the past
