“I’m extremely passionate about encouraging entrepreneurship and building digital skills and will continue this focus in my new position.

“I’m also delighted that our LEP community has been further strengthened by 24 new members who represent the private sector. To have such a strong representation from a wide range of industries will significantly enhance our ability to support and work with business in the region.

“It also differentiates us from many Local Enterprise Partnerships who would no doubt relish the ability to have such active involvement from the business community.”
