Deputy Mayor for Policing and Crime responds to the verdict of the Khayri Mclean Trial

Two teenagers have been found guilty of the murder of 15-year-old Khayri Mclean.

Two teenagers have today been found guilty of the murder of 15-year-old Khayri Mclean.

Alison Lowe OBE, Deputy Mayor for Policing and Crime, said: “This is an absolutely heart-breaking case where a young life was senselessly lost.

“As we now await sentencing, I hope that the verdicts bring some comfort to those that knew and loved Khayri.

“We must stop knife crime, and we all need to continue to do our upmost in partnership alongside the wider community to tackle these issues.”
