In 2025, we transformed Bradford city centre with Bradford City Council.
Right now, it’s easier to walk or cycle along better routes and there are new green outdoor spaces for people to enjoy.
In 2025, we officially opened a new Halifax bus station with Calderdale Council.
Today, passengers can access more buses from Halifax, get support from a new travel centre and safely park their bike before heading off on the bus.
This year, we’re building a new Heckmondwike bus station with Kirklees Council.
We’re investing £10.5 million to unlock more bus stops, better transport links, cycle parking and accessible facilities. It’s set to open later this year as the first bus station under the Weaver Network.
Right now, we’re transforming Leeds City Station with Leeds City Council and Network Rail.
This year, passengers will see an improved, more pedestrian-friendly main entrance and surrounding area. New cycle parking, passenger lifts and wider, safer steps will make it easier for everyone to travel.
Right now, we’re funding new and improved bus services in Wakefield.
A new hourly service – the 157 – connects Pontefract, Spital Hardwick, Castleford and Pinderfields Hospital, making it easier for communities across Wakefield to access health services.
