West Yorkshire has an ambitious pipeline of employment land and energy opportunities. We are seeking an experienced development and investment professional to support with turning those ambitions into a coherent portfolio of credible, investment-ready propositions capable of attracting significant private and institutional capital.
As Programme Development Lead, you will work across the Combined Authority, constituent councils, government, investors and delivery partners to identify the strongest opportunities, address barriers to investment and develop propositions that take regional priorities through to implementation.
This is one of two new roles; we are also recruiting to the more senior role of Implementation Lead (Strategic Pipeline and Investment). As a new team the two roles offer the opportunity to shape how capital is mobilised in support of West Yorkshire’s long-term economic, social and environmental ambitions.
The purpose of the role is to support building a prioritised regional pipeline of investable propositions (with a focus on employment and energy), bringing together strategic fit, delivery planning, commercial thinking and capital requirements so that West Yorkshire’s strongest opportunities are suitable for subsequent engagement with investors and funding partners.
