Vision Zero Annual Event – Halifax

Want to know what it takes to keep West Yorkshire’s roads safe?

You are invited to a free, family-friendly road safety event taking place at People’s Park in Halifax on Thursday 13th August.

The event will run from 10am to 4pm and includes interactive stalls, emergency service vehicles, cycling support and much more.

The event has been arranged by the West Yorkshire Vision Zero Partnership as part of their work to reduce all road deaths and serious injuries in the county to zero by 2040.

What will be there

You can expect to see a host of interactive stalls including:

  • Activities and crafts for children and young people
  • A host of emergency service vehicles, equipment and staff who will be happy to speak to you and show you around
  • Educational resources on road safety
  • Cycling support

The park is a short walk out of Halifax Town Centre which is accessible by bus or train. The park also has a number of car parks close by.
