Digital access is increasingly essential to everyday life, helping people access healthcare and public services, stay connected with loved ones and find employment opportunities. For many people arriving in the UK, however, digital barriers can make these everyday tasks challenging.
To help address this, One Ummah Community in Wakefield has been working with the Digital Inclusion West Yorkshire programme, supporting more people to gain the skills, confidence and access they need to benefit from being online.
Hear from staff, volunteers, service users and partners about how digital support is helping people access essential services, build confidence, stay connected and improve their wellbeing.
